At the time of entering Carabao Restaurant, you’ll know it’s a very special place. Made entirely of wood, with interesting pieces of teak furniture, the atmosphere is really relaxing.

The restaurant can accommodate up to 200 people, according to which you can choose to dine on the regular tables and chairs in the main dining room or you may prefer to dine in a prominent Chiangmai “Kantoke” style booth seating (which is to eat by sitting in the mat).

The entire environment is very windy, and the choice of the place evokes a feeling of being in a beach resort. The architecture is a mixture of Malay and Thai inspired style.

CARABAO name actually means ‘Buffalo’ in Tagolog, and the idea was conceived during a trip inspiring Chengmai in 2002. The founder Andi decided the name of your business after a friend of his Harley Davidson Biker’s that for every accident is also the name of the famous Thai rock band with folk-style music – Carabao.
